iPad runs Blackboard, not Concourse

Blackboard released this YouTube video on Monday:

Pretty cool, huh? Sorry, Vista users (including Concourse at Notre Dame), it’s only for the “real” Blackboard. Here’s what the corporate website says:

We are currently investigating the feasibility and timing for supporting earlier versions of Blackboard including CE/Vista and ANGEL.

Translation: “we’re going to wait until users of those products get so frustrated that they move up to our preferred line.”

I guess Blackboard’s Mobile Learn initiative is still cool, but I have to say I am disappointed on behalf of thousands of former WebCT users who have been left out of the picture — again.
