CLMOOC virtual visualization
The 3D visualization in this video presents aspects of connected learning as a linked dynamic object. It is a virtual sculpture created in Second Life as a series of spheres with transparent textures. Each one has a rotation script and all are linked to an invisible disk that rotates the whole thing together. I tried making the same thing with Sketchup but it was too difficult. My experience in Second Life made this a relatively easy “make.” I used SnapzPro to capture the video.
Many thanks to the folks at Boise State for providing an open “sandbox” on Edtech Island in Second Life.
