Try Google’s new appointment slots for office hours

June 9, 2011

On June 7 Google rolled out “appointment slots,” a feature of Google Calendar that lets you create time slots which other people can book. This could be an excellent way for students to make appointments for office hours! I gave it a quick test and it worked well, although there seemed to be a bit of delay between creating the slots and their being visible to other users.

Read the official announcement here – Introducing appointment slots in Google Calendar – Official Gmail Blog.  The video below gives a nice overview – or learn how to use appointment slots at the Google Help site.
