Weave tweets, links, and videos into social stories

March 8, 2011

Rather than come up with something original today, I’m going to point you to an article on the ProfHacker blog that describes a new website which appears to be very clever. I don’t entirely get the program, which is called Storify, but that’s probably because tweets are central to its workings – and I have never completely understood the attraction so many people have for Twitter…

I’ve been playing around with Storify for a few months now, since the very end of its private beta, and I like the way I can weave tweets, links, videos, and other media into one coherent storyline.

[from Telling Social Stories with Storify by Ryan Cordell]

The website says it lets you “search multiple social networks from one place, and then drag individual elements into your story. You can re-order the elements and also add text to give context to your readers.” If you try it out, let me know what you think.
