2011 Horizon Report preview

February 3, 2011

FEB. 8 UPDATE: the 2011 Horizon Report is available, both  PDF edition and Web version.

Each year since 2004, the New Media Consortium and the Educause Learning Initiative (ELI) have produced a report that examines six emerging technologies for teaching, learning and creative inquiry. The final version of the 2011 Horizon Report will be released February 14 at the ELI Conference. An earlier “soft release” is expected and we will update this article when that occurs. In the meantime, preview materials are available.

The 2011 Horizon Report Preview is a PDF document that describes this year’s six topics, along with trends and challenges. The list below links to the Horizon Report Wiki for details, including links to readings and projects.
