Brown bags and blogs Feb. 16

January 26, 2011

State of the Blogosphere

Last year the number of active English language blogs surpassed 200 million. in The State of the Blogosphere 2010 Fast Company’s Brian Solis wrote,

[The blogosphere] is a place where context, thoughtfulness, and continuity are rewarded with inbound links, ReTweets, bookmarks, comments, and Likes. Blogs are the digital library of our intellect, experience, and vision. With blogs, we are investing in our digital legacy.

On February 16, Mike Roe (Writer, AgencyND) will explain why blogging is the best way — yes, better than Twitter or Facebook — to build both your online reputation and community, as well as to drive people to your website. Bring your lunch and AgencyND will provide drinks and cookies.
