DVD bookmarks and clips on a Mac

Chalk the following tidbit up to “I didn’t know you could do that!” I just discovered that you can create bookmarks and clips for DVDs on a Mac, using Apple’s free DVD Player program that comes with Mac OSX. I’m not talking about creating a separate movie file, and the shortcuts live on one computer – but this technique can still be very useful.

Let’s say you want students to see a few specific bits of video from a DVD that you own. Create the clips ahead of time on your laptop, then take the laptop and DVD to class.

I checked and there doesn’t seem to be a similar capability on Windows — sorry! Here’s where you can learn how to do this on your Mac, though:

    I’m confident Google realizes which well-known CMS most of these SEO tools can connect to and possibly follow them all very carefully.
