Ready to learn

June 9, 2010

Getting up at 6 AM is probably doing pretty well for the first morning in Pacific time – I wasn’t ready for the 20-hour day that Tuesday turned into.

Although the conference was not in full swing I got off a good start yesterday, chatting for a couple of hours with new acquaintances Ruben from Massachusetts and Wendy from Ohio about all kinds of things: Flash, game design, digital storytelling, Apple, Cleveland, professional associations, the Berkshire Mountains, children, and so on.

For this particular geek, most of today will be dedicated to “Mobile Programming for Educators,” where the aforementioned Dr. Ruben Puentedura will teach a group of us how to create iPhone apps using the Apple SDK. After that I will finally be able to publish the killer iPad application that will earn me billions of dollars — bwa ha ha!
