Prize recognizes a virtual world project

The Linden Prize rewards a Second Life project that enhances the way people work, learn and communicate in the real world. The  award aligns with Linden Lab’s mission of connecting people to an online world that advances the human condition. $10,000. The first Linden Prize (2009) recognized two projects: Studio Wikitecture and Virtual Ability.

This year’s candidates include Karuna and the Uncle D Story Quest, an immersive experience that invites participants into the life of a person living with HIV. The ten finalists are being featured in a series of articles on the Second Life community blog during the weeks leading up to the June 1 award date. Learn more here:
