My favorite blog – “ProfHacker” – posted this the other day: Google Faculty Research Awards Program. Here’s the short story, from the program’s website;

The intent of the awards is to support academic research aimed at improving information access (defined broadly)

Awards of $10-15K typically cover one year’s work, and one of the specific areas they identify is “Educational innovation.” To learn more, you might want to read the announcement of the Q4 Research Awards,
