No more Google appointment slots

For two years, I have successfully used the “appointment slots” feature of Google Calendar to schedule early semester office visits. The process has worked well, but I will have to find a new way to do this in spring 2013. As part of its Winter cleaning, Google will eliminate appointment slots and other features in January.
I learned about this through a ProfHacker article by Heather Whitney, who lists several alternatives. A physics professor at Wheaton, Dr. Whitney plans to switch to a service called ScheduleOnce, which integrates with Google Calendar.
