Learn how faculty, students and staff at the University of Notre Dame are using mobile phones and tablets to improve teaching, learning, research and university services. Find out how people around campus came up with great ideas and developed those ideas into mobile apps. Get a look into the mobile strategy being developed for our campus.

Details: University of Notre Dame, Eck Hall of Law, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 28 –  register at mobile.nd.edu – open to the public

  • 9:30 am – Mobile U – Mobile devices and the future of research and teaching. Elliott Visconsi, Associate Professor of English at Notre Dame
  • 10:15 am – Mobile at ND – Where we are and where we are going.
  • Noon – Lunch from Sorin’s (registration required)
  • 1:15 pm – Lightning Sessions – Presentations for coders, producers and users.
  • 2:45 pm - Building Apps – How to get started with Apple app development tools. Steve Hayman, Apple Consulting Engineer
