Chemistry add-in for Word
Chemistry scholars have a new tool at their disposal. The Chemistry Add-in for Word is officially at version 1 (it began beta testing in March 2010). According to the product’s home page, “The Chemistry Add-in for Word makes it easier to insert and modify chemical information, such as labels, formulas, and 2-D depictions, within Microsoft Office Word.” The product is available for Windows-based computers running Microsoft Word 2007 and Word 2010. No Macintosh version is available, but that may change, as the code has been assigned as an open source project to the Outercurve Foundation.
