Backup in Concourse

It’s the end of the semester and many of you have created great course materials in Concourse (Blackboard Vista at Notre Dame). This is a good time to make an archival backup copy.
- Go to the Build or Teach tab in the course
- Click Manage Course and select Backup
- Click “Back Up Course”
- After it’s done, you have the option to download the backup.
Click the small icon to the right of the backup title and choose “Save as File”
Your downloaded backup can be restored in a future semester to a new course. It can even be used at another school that uses Blackboard Vista.
The backup file also acts as a security blanket (not a bad idea).
